Looking back on 2007

“Here are some of my outdoor highlights from last year. February: Back down to the Grand Canyon for the fifth or sixth time. Stayed overnight at Phantom Ranch in the bottom of the canyon. May: Skiing and biking in Whistler. (No photos.) July: Up at the cottage with family and the Budman. August: Out to Banff. Tried to climb Assiniboine with Geoff Powter. Didn't quite make it to the top, but came close and had a great time. September: Down to Adirondacks to hike up Mt. Marcy on a very chilly morning. Reached summit at daybreak. Later in month, down to NYC for a nice run in Central Park. November: To Italy, where I hiked the Cinque Terre and strolled to the top of Vesuvius. ” (One of explorer1's photo albums)
