Looks like Paul has hooked us up with two flights on Air Swisha into Benoit from Swisha. Two dudes and one canoe with gear per flight. Cost is $240/person. The airport will arrange a shuttle for us too for an additional $50.

Looks great. I'd love to paddle the Dumoine... Can't wait to hear all about it!

The flight into the Demoine is an awesome way to start the trip. The flight takes approx 35 min from the dock at air swisha to lake Benoit wich is the starting point of the 3-4 trip down the Dumoine, ending on the Ottawa river.
The other option is to have one of the local outfitters drive you into the lake. The drive time is approx 3 hours + and cost about half of what a flight would cost.
Overall you can't go wrong, the flight really adds to the trip, but if money talks, then the drive is also a good option.
