Fourth of July

Went sailing up in Toronto. Caught the fireworks at Ontario Place

Leaving Port Credit

The breakwater at Port Credit Marina is a big ol' ship that's permanently in place at the mouth of the harbor.

Heading out of Port Credit marina, there was no wind and a whole bunch of fog. We thought of not going out, but decided there was no harm, and even if we motored all the way to Ontario Place, it was still better than leaving the boat in the slip and playing cards all night. (We did consider that option, though, 'cause it ain't half bad.)

Looks eerie, but you were in the right spirit to go out...that's what it's all about right? The reward from the risk, getting out of the armchair and taking the step, the measured leap of faith, and then the euphoria that can only come from living life as a participant and not a spectator. Truly LIVING.
