Located about 800 kilometers north of Sydney and 170 kilometers south of Brisbane in New South Wales, Australia, Byron Bay is an outdoor enthusiasts dream. Mountain biking, hiking, diving, surfing, skydiving and whale watching can all be done around Byron Bay.

Driving is beautiful along the coast. There are also two airports located nearby and the train and bus stations are right downtown.

Information and tours can easily be booked at the Byron visitor information centre located downtown and conveniently located next to the Rails pub.

More then anything Byron Bay is known for its fantastic surf. The beach break is easily accessible and often has some of the best waves on the coast.
