This is an awesome wave on the Ottawa River. Located in the "Lorne" (or Black's Chute) this wave forms nicely for a fast surf and some great arials. There is a large eddy behind "moby dick" a large and long rock outcrop that also makes for a great rest and photo op spot.

The rafting companies usually stop here and do "dick spins". They line up in the large eddy and drop in trying to surf on the garborator and jockeying for position can be difficult when it's busy.

Just below this wave though is a the "Greyhound Bus Eater" hole named after its size when the level of the river is between 5 and 15. If you are having difficulty eddying out behind Moby Dick your best bet is to stay river right and wash down through Waikiki.
