Hardwood Hills is located just over 1 hour north of Toronto. To get here from Toronto take the 400 North to Barrie, then just north of Barrie continue along the 400 extension. Turn off at the first exit off the 400 extension onto Forbes Rd (exit #111). Turn left at stop sign - follow Forbes Rd. NE for 10 km. Hardwood Hills will be on the left hand side of the road

For mountain bikers there are 80 km of double and single track trails rolling through hardwood and pine forest. Hardwood Hills offers endless possibilities of different riding experiences.

There are 6 different trail systems:
1. Sprockids Trail - 2 km for kids to enjoy.
2. Fun Trail - 5 km beginner single track.
3. Sidewinder - 6 km highly technical with obstacles, bridges, teeter-totters etc.
4. Serious Trail - 10 kms of fun, fast, twisty single track, and not too much climbing.
5. Gnarly Trail - 12 km of more technically and physically challenging trails.
6. Radical Trail - 15 kms of highly physically and technically challenging trails, with steep climbs, drop-offs, natural and man-made obstacles.

Daily fee is $12.50 for adults, $10.50 for students (13-19), and $8 for kids 6-12.

The track is open 7 days a week from 9-5 and open on weekends from 8:30-6 during the summer.

Nice Trek mountain bikes are available for rent. Cost is $33 for full day or $28 for half day.

When summer ends Hardwood Hills turns into a nordic ski center. They boast 30 kilometers of groomed trails for skiing or 20 kilometers of trail for snowshoeing.
Adult full trail day fee is $19.81. Seniors are $17.45 as are students.
