La Montagne D'Argent
Located less than 15 minutes north of Mont Tremblant, Montagne D'Argent is a privately owned rock and ice climbing destination just outside the town of La Conception, Quebec.
This area was developed by Gaétan Castilloux and has become a local hot spot for climbers for rock climbing, ice climbing, and bouldering. The first routes were put up in 1994 and it now has a wide variety of routes at all levels.
Gaétan has created an irrigation system that pumps water from the nearby mountain lake and pours it over the rock's edge to form ice routes in the winter.
Park your car along the road on the wide shoulder at the base of the crag. The trail will lead you up to the base of the crag where you will find a small cabin that is used by groups who have booked it.
There is a $7.50 fee for the use of the crag and there is usually someone at the cabin to collect it.
