As the title says....

Trouble with it is it's just a bit too long for me in the torso. I have complained about this pack for years that it pushed against the top of my sacrum and all my hiking companions said no it's fine judging from their eyeballing it. I had it maxed out as short as it would go.

Well one day I went to one of the local dealers here on W 4th and he agreed. I need a medium not a large torso length. Trouble is I'm longer limbed shorter framed with fairly broad shoulders. He didn't have any mediums in stock and said they frankly didn't ever stock men's backpacks in that size as a rule.

My suggestion, know yourself and don't get sold anything that doesn't feel great in the first place. Ultimately you will pay the price and it will lessen your enjoyment of the moments you get outside. Not to mention you will end up with gear that you'll need to replace, in this case one of the pricier ones.
