The Toronto Police Service's (TPS) Marine Unit is responsible for policing Toronto Harbour. It's also responsible for the 79 lifeguards who patrol Toronto's public beaches.

The base station is at 259 Queens Quay W., which is located west of Harbourfront. According to the TPS web site:
>From the water the building can be seen
>at the western end of the inner harbour.
>The green roof and observation tower make
>this an easy building to identify.
